ReadyTab

ReadyTab is a new tab extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Brave. It replaces the empty new tab with boards of links, notes and tools, for one person or for a whole team.

The problem it solves

Small teams keep their shared links in pinned chat messages, old documents and one person's bookmarks. New hires ask where the HR portal is, and when a tool changes, half the company keeps using the old link. There is usually no intranet, no managed browser, and no budget for either.

How teams use it

One person builds a board and hosts it. Everyone else installs the free extension and joins with a short token. The board appears as a tab in their new tab, read-only, and updates on its own whenever the owner changes something. If someone else should maintain it, the owner creates a named edit key, for example "Office manager", and sends it. Keys are revoked one at a time, so a role change never takes the board away from anyone else.

Editing is safe with several people on the board. Changes save automatically, and if two people save at the same time, the second one is asked to review the conflict before anything is replaced. Pending edits are kept locally for recovery.

For people who will not install an extension, the same board can be published as a read-only web page. It opens in any browser and on any phone, and the owner can update it in place. Agencies use this to give each client its own page from its own workspace.

Full, CHF 25 a year or CHF 52.99 once: host team boards, create edit keys, publish web pages and share codes. Collaborators do not pay. A team of 5 costs the same as a team of 50.

Privacy

Boards are encrypted in the browser before they are uploaded, so the server stores data it cannot read. The extension has no ads and no analytics. Local workspaces never leave your machine unless you choose to sync or share them.
