By submitting a listing you agree to the following.

When you submit a listing, Submit Your Startup shares the listing (its name, website URL and category) and the email address of the account that submitted it with our sister service RivalGrade (rivalgrade.com). We share it once the listing is published, and tell RivalGrade if its website changes or the listing is taken down or deleted.

RivalGrade scans the product's public website, includes the product in its benchmark of indie products, and may email the founder a free pre-launch scorecard (closest rivals, pricing against similar products, suggested fixes) with an option to buy a full report. Every RivalGrade email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing there stops RivalGrade's emails without affecting your listing here.

This applies to listings submitted on or after the date these terms took effect; listings submitted earlier are not shared. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit a listing under these terms.

RivalGrade is a separate service that decides how it uses this data, so it is responsible for it as an independent controller; see its privacy policy. It deletes your data on request ([email protected]). To stop us sharing your listing with RivalGrade, email [email protected] and we will stop and ask RivalGrade to delete it.
