What BetaList is for, per its own site

  • Describes itself as the place for early adopters to discover upcoming and recently launched internet startups (FAQ).
  • Every submission is paid. The FAQ says "All submissions are paid. There is no free submission option" and that BetaList used to offer free submissions. Current plans and prices appear at the end of the submission form, which we did not complete, so we list none.
  • Plans differ mainly by how quickly a startup is featured and whether newsletter inclusion is guaranteed. The expected timeline is shown when you pick a plan.
  • Editors review each startup before featuring it. If it is not selected, the FAQ says you get a full refund automatically; once featured, refunds are not available.
  • The submitting guide says most submissions wait days or weeks before publishing, unless you picked a paid plan that features you within days.
  • Per its criteria, BetaList takes technology startups that are pre-launch or recently launched, with their own domain and a distinct landing page. Blogs, courses, newsletters, agencies and app-store-only links are not accepted. Each startup is generally featured once.
  • Featured listings link out with a dofollow "Visit Site" button, per the FAQ.

If you want a free listing

  • Launching Next says submitting is free and that it reviews submissions every day. A $99 upgrade promises consideration within one business day.
  • Launchpadly lists for free after a review it puts at 1 to 3 days, and asks for a badge on your site. A $9 featured plan (7 days on the homepage) goes live without a review wait.
  • Uneed, StartupBase, TinyLaunch and Fazier each have a free tier that waits in a queue. Uneed's starts at least 30 days out, StartupBase's takes about 4 to 5 weeks, and Fazier says free listings are reviewed within 30 days.
  • Submit Your Startup is ours. A free submission goes live in the next open slot after at least 24 hours, up to 10 a day, ranked by community votes. An optional $9 skips the wait, and paid placements are never ranked.

If you want a daily leaderboard

Product Hunt is free to use and ranks products daily by community vote; you log in to submit and company accounts are prohibited. Uneed also keeps daily, weekly, monthly and yearly boards.

If you want developers

DevHunt launches developer tools weekly, voted on by developers; listing is free with a nofollow link and a launch is $19. Hacker News Show HN is for something people can try, and posting requires an account.

How we checked

On 24 Oct 2026we loaded the pages below on each site's own domain and recorded only what they state. We did not use third-party blog claims or complete any submission form, so BetaList's plan prices, which appear at the end of its submit form, are not listed. A cell reading Not shown on site means the pages we read did not say; it does not mean no such rule exists.

This page is published by Submit Your Startup, which is in the table; our row is flagged. Corrections: [email protected]. Data version: 2026-10-24. BetaList pages read:

Pages for the other sites are listed on our Product Hunt alternatives page, which uses the same data. See also the verified directory list.
